Text Box:   LEBANON AREA YOUNG PROFESSIONALS:    Hey Lebanon Area Businesses!  Last year you helped us collect 5,549 pounds of food & $2,200 in cash donations!  Thanks to your generosity and partnership - We delivered 75 Christmas Food baskets.  The balance of the donated food and money that we had left over was given directly to the Lebanon Food Pantry.  We especially want to thank and recognize our partner in this effort, the Lebanon Optimist Club!  Over 60 Lebanon Area Businesses participated in this effort.    We hope that you will help us raise even more donations this year!     LAYP’s Partner With County Commissioners on Food Drive The LAYP’s are proud to announce our ongoing partnership with the Warren County Commissioners & United Way to help feed the Lebanon families in need this Holiday season. The need is growing…by September 30th of this year the Lebanon Food Pantry served 4,013 families (13,857 individuals).  Countywide, 24.2% of our entire population has been served by the united Way Food Pantries in mason, Lebanon, Franklin, Kings SD, Little Miami SD and the Salvation Army.   The Food Pantry has a growing need as the holiday season fast approaches. We are asking for your help!  Our goal is to make a big dent in that need.  Your business can get involved by allowing us to put a barrel in your lobby for employees to bring in non-perishable food items. Monetary donations also needed to help buy perishables and Volunteers needed to assist with assembling and delivering baskets.    Monetary Donations: For every $1 donated in cash, the Food Pantry can actually purchase $10 worth of food items through their membership with the Shared Harvest organization.
